At Code&Quill, we’ve always been junkies for simple pleasures. For example: there’s a happy tingle every time we start writing on good paper. So it was essential that, when we designed Code&Quill’s notebooks, we started with paper that made us feel good while we used it. Sure enough, our customers have experienced the same pleasure—and we’ve kept the same paper in all of our notebooks since.
But we’ve recently added another visceral joy to our product line: something perforated. Let’s be clear here: these are not crappy perforations, the kind that have a 50% chance of making you sad. These are space-laser sharp—tight enough never to drop anything, but wide enough that you can get a page out clean.
Our first notebook with perforations is the new Compass notepad. The spine’s at the top, steno-style, and the cover is narrow enough to fit comfortably in one hand. Open the Compass from the front and our familiar indentation rule will be waiting—but you can also open it from the back for dot-grid pages. Same classic look with gray hardcover, same awesome paper… and now with an extra dopamine rush every time you finish a page.
The Tear&Travel bundle starts with two (2) of the new gray Compass notepad, so you’re prepared to take down the details anywhere—or perhaps pass a sharp-looking note to the right person. Then—for the details worth keeping bound—take two (2) of our updated Traveler softcover in matching gray. You’ll always be ready to grab & go!

Tear & Travel
Outstanding notebooks made with a paper to rival Clairfontaine/Rhodia! I love the dot/Indent ruling.
